In order to prepare the case study we will ask the some of following questions tailored to each of the modules
- Introduction: name, job title, role
- Can you give me a quick overview of who the company is and what it does?
- Can you give a brief account of the structure of your organisation (franchise, independent, chain etc.)
- Can you give an overview of the market in which you operate?
- Can you give a brief outline of the management structure of your organisation (in store or Head Office whichever is applicable)?
- Who are your customers?
- What services do you provide for your customers?
- How has shopping changed at the Centre in the last 5 years?
- Do you have a view on how retailing has changed in the last 20 years?
- How would you like to see your organisation grow in the next 5 years?
- What media do you use for attracting customers?
- What facilities do you have to serve local community?
- Why are community relations so important?
- What storage and stock control facilities do you have here, or company-wide?
- What sorts of display systems do you use?
- What do you look for in prospective employees?
- What are your views on BTEC Retail?
